„Axis Industries“ engaged in the renovation of Visaginas heating substation modules.

„Axis Industries“ will carry out the renovation of heating substation modules in multiapartment houses of the 1st Visaginas residential district, and in public buildings. Following the contract signed with Visaginas city municipality and the Central Project Management Agency „Axis Industries“ became a general contractor of this project valued at 20 million litas.

“It is one of the biggest heating substation renovation projects in the history of „Axis Industries“. “In total, in Visaginas we will equip 242 modern heating substation modules where the remote heating substation modules management and accounting data collection system Rubisafe will be installed”, said Remigijus Baltrušaitis, general manager.

In Visaginas, the Group of companies will prepare the design for heating substation modules, production and install heating substation modules, as well as the Rubisafe system. For a part of the installation work and finish of heating substation premises „Axis Industries“ will hire subcontractors. Renovation of heating substation modules of the 1st Visaginas residential district funded by the EU structural support assets is intended to be accomplished in two years.

Sales of heating technology products and services of „Axis Industries“ in 2007 totalled 58 million litas. It is nearly 30% more than in 2006, when the Group of companies sold products and services for 44.7 million litas.

Last year „Axis Industries“, upon signing the agreement valued in 2.6 million with „Ignalinos Šilumos Tinklai“, installed 110 modern heating substation modules in this town. According to the contract with Anykščių Šilumos Tinklai valued at 1.8 million the Group of companies will equip 93 heating substation modules in Anykščiai.

„Axis Industries“ actively cooperates with heat suppliers not only in Lithuania but also abroad. In 2007 the Group of companies equipped 104 heating substation modules in Daugavpils, Latvia, according to the contract valued at 3.2 million litas. Up to now, „Axis Industries“ has supplied up to one thousand of automated heating substation modules to the Latvian market.
