„Axis Industries“ completed the complex project at oil refinery company „Mažeikių nafta“.

„Axis Industries“ timely completed the renovation project carried out in extremely difficult conditions at AB „Mažeikių Nafta“ oil refinery. The total value of major factory repair work, carried out by „Axis Industries“ in March-April, amounted to nearly 1.3 million litas.

“We engaged a team of specialists from Vilnius, Kaunas and Klaipeda, and successfully completed the project which, due to the complex conditions and short deadlines, was refused by all other tenderers. To make impossible to become possible, as many as 60 of our employees were working at Mažeikiai oil refinery in two shifts for five weeks“, - said General Director of „Axis Industries“ Remigijus Baltrušaitis.

The company implemented the project valued at 765 thousand litas, and installed two gas compressors in one of the main Mažeikiai oil production units. At the same time, „Axis Industries“ specialists developed devices and carried out the work of compressor controls and expansion of protection, electrical installation, tuning and reconstruction of a part of the automation equipment.

Another part of the work was carried out by „Axis Industries“ according to the annual contract of repair work valued at 2.5 million litas, concluded with „Mažeikių Nafta“. In the same production unit the company's specialists contributed to the modernization of furnaces: they carried out the work of burners’ installation and adjustment. The value of the work is 0.5 million litas.

The work was carried out during the annual maintenance and major repairs of „Mažeikių Nafta“ installations. „Axis Industries“ carries out individual projects on the basis of annual contracts and cooperates with „Mažeikių Nafta“ since 2006.

Last year the „Axis Industries“ actively participated at „Mažeikių Nafta“ during the work of the reactor replacement in the first oil processing facility. In total in 2008 the company carried out the work in this plant for 3.8 million litas. The volume of work carried out by „Axis Industries“ in Mažeikiai in 2007 was 7 million litas, in 2006 - about 3.6 million litas.

In order to carry out „Mažeikių Nafta“ orders promptly, in 2006, „Axis Industries“ established a branch in Mazeikiai. It currently employs 27 professionals. In Mazeikiai the company has a production facility, which consists of the administrative facilities, warehouses and a workshop.
